فرهنگستان علوم پزشکی جمهوری اسلامی ایران سازمانی است که ایجاد آن در پانزدهم دیماه ۱۳۶۶ به تصویب شورای عالی انقلاب فرهنگی و سپس در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۳۶۶ به تصویب مجلس شورای اسلامی رسید و از همان تاریخ آغاز به کار نمود.
